Year In Review: Dumb Criminal Acts of 2014

Here at Charleston Security Systems, we’ve helped with hundreds of arrests and other incidences all over the Lowcountry and we’ve seen our fair share of criminals who haven’t been the sharpest tools in the shed, so to speak. But they don’t quite match these criminal acts from around the country:

1. “The Furniture Swap”

“The man told police he thought the couple had moved and abandoned their furniture.”

2. “The Sleepy Sausage Stealer”

“The intruder then takes some sausages from the meat-processing business, goes back outside and then returns, grabbing a coat and falling asleep in the back office.”

“It gives kilts a bad name.”

5. “But First, Let Me Take A Selfie”
