What Is This Upgrade For?
Your current monitoring services are provided via the 2G cellular communication network. This means that when an event occurs, your system sends our monitoring station a signal over that 2G cellular network, letting us know things like alarm notifications, sensor bypasses and more.

Due to the availability of faster, more reliable cellular networks such as 3G and 4G, providers are phasing out the 2G cellular network, effective at the end of 2016.

To ensure uninterrupted protection, this update
must be completed by December 31st, 2016.
